Wildtrotter is built on a passion and desire to offer you a life-changing volunteer adventure that’s unique, exotic and off the beaten path. We aim to make volunteering in Costa Rica affordable and memorable while making a positive impact in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
The founder
Founder Anja lives in Costa Rica. As a conservationist, she was involved in the most diverse protection projects of the country as a volunteer and volunteer coordinator. She knows the processes and requirements in each individual project. From her collaboration with the Costa Rican nature conservation a common goal arose: protect the wildlife and its natural habitats. The extraordinary experiences coupled with the lessons she’s learned has changed her life. She now wants to make the same possible for other adventurers.
I grew up with enthusiasm and love for animals.

Between 2014 and 2017 I worked in various conservation projects in Costa Rica.
My passion for animals and the fascination for Costa Rica`s unique nature was my inspiration for starting WILDTROTTER.
Originally from Germany, I am now based in Costa Rica.
